About Jeanie
In about 1997 or so, I saw a photograph of a Tuareg woman with henna on her palms in an old French National Geographic magazine and was instantly fascinated. I practiced on my own for a few years and eventually started working with other henna artists in the Pacific Northwest. A couple of decades and a whole heck of a lot of henna paste later, here I am! I'm also a photographer and fine art painter in my spare time. All of the photography on this website is by me unless otherwise indicated.
